Maui Northshore 06.11.08

Today a northwest swell was gonna fill in, and it did ! sailed Kuau early. fully to overpowered on my 5.3 and occasional head high sets. wasnt really in tune with the sets today, but got a couple of turns. there was a occasional big set at Kuau and after watching a few masthigh bombs at Hookipa and Lanes i decided that Kuau on a rising swell might be a bit more than i normally would ask for. went down to lower, but the wind was backing of there and the swell might have been a bit too west. didnt really have the size that i should. according to Tormod the wind had been better there earlier. at my break at hookipa i was able to shoot a (crashed) DOUBLE backloop by F-333 ! despite the crashlanding i would say the rotation was really good. superfast ! more high jumps here http://picasaweb.google.no/paal.rype

You sly man Pall, sneaking up to hookipa and taking winner pictures of double back loop when I am at lower K for windsurf there. ☺ A friendly joke, it’s awesome, congratulations with that paal. Have been talking to several who where out at hookipa today, and it was good jump conditions. I should really have seen Keith’s 10 meter high beck loop’s you talked about.
